Join the Mission: Honoring a Legacy, Building Leaders

TAMACC, in partnership with the Roy P. Benavidez Foundation and family, and Leadership Tejas, invites you to be part of something bigger than an event: the inaugural Roy P. Benavidez Scholarship Luncheon.

This is not a formality. It is a call to action.

We are proud to launch this signature luncheon to honor the legacy of Master Sergeant Roy P. Benavidez, a true American hero whose life exemplified courage, sacrifice, and service. Born in Texas and raised in poverty, he overcame extraordinary hardship and went on to perform heroic actions in Vietnam, saving the lives of fellow soldiers despite severe injuries. For his bravery, he was awarded the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military distinction.

His story reminds us that greatness is defined not by circumstance, but by character.

If you are interested in attending, sponsoring a table, or helping underwrite the event, do not hesitate to contact the TAMACC office at president@tamacc.org or (512) 444-5727.
