NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN FOR TAMACC’s WOMEN OF DISTINCTION AWARDS
TAMACC will honor twelve (12) outstanding leaders at the eighth annual Women of Distinction Awards luncheon Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Austin Southpark Hotel, 4140 Governor’s Row, Austin, Texas from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Hispanic women make enormous contributions to this country’s economic, political, leadership, and social landscape. To recognize some of the outstanding women, TAMACC established the annual Women of Distinction Awards. Recipients of this prestigious award come from all over Texas and are nominated from a wide spectrum of backgrounds and disciplines. Each year a Selection Committee of Latina peers and previous recipients review the applications and select 12 women to be recognized as Women of Distinction.

TAMACC BOARD OF DIRECTORS' MEETING
Saturday, April 30, 2022
TAMACC’s Board of Directors will have an in-person meeting on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Buda, Texas.
 
This will be TAMACC’s first board meeting of the year and our first in-person meeting since the pandemic restrictions. For those who come in Friday evening, TAMACC will host a reception and dinner for attending members at the TAMACC office located at 606 Main Street, Buda, Texas.

NEWEST PODCAST EPISODES OF THE
LATINO BUSINESS REPORT
During the latest annual survey in 2021, it was found that 57 percent of US consumers listened to audio podcasts, up from 55 percent in the previous year.

Podcasts enable users to choose their favorite topics, download the episode, and manipulate the listening pace (19% of listeners increase the podcast speed). They allow listeners to consume bite-sized information on their favorite music streaming apps while they are doing something else.
