Cortland Treon was born in Abilene, Texas, and grew up in Okinawa, Japan. Growing up in an Air Force family, Cortland understands the sacrifices service families must make and the struggles that come with that lifestyle. Cortland graduated last May with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Texas State University. He is working towards his master’s in Business Administration and is expected to graduate this fall.

Cortland has a passion for marketing and believes in the power of community outreach. He previously volunteered for the San Marcos River Foundation where he helped the foundation target and reach more Texas State students for their volunteer river cleanup efforts. Cortland is also a big supporter of small businesses and recognizes their importance in building communities.
 
Cortland is eager to apply his learning experiences from his business schooling to help TAMACC fulfill its mission and duties of supporting Texas Hispanic businesses.
