Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber Hires New
President and CEO
The Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announces the hiring of Andrea Kosar as their new President and CEO.

Kosar officially starts her new position on May 2, 2022. She will pick up where former president Alfred Solano left off after his successful tenure. Kosar will continue executing the cornerstones of the chamber's mission of advocating for economic and civic interests, with a focus on promoting the economic, educational, and social development of the business community in Waco, Texas.

Since her graduation from Baylor University in 2016, Kosar has been active in the Hispanic Chamber. Many locals may recognize Kosar from her time at 25 News KXXV, where she anchored the morning and midday news.

Kosar has a Paraguayan heritage and is fluent in English and Spanish. She is also an entrepreneur, she and her husband Hunter co-own Twisted Nail, LLC.

“We are so excited to have such a talented businesswoman lead this organization,” says Chairman Jonathan Olvera. “There has been great faith and trust bestowed upon Ms. Kosar as the incoming president. Her leadership has already shown her intentional focus on our three strategic initiatives. This is exactly what our community needs, and we cannot be more thrilled for our Chamber’s direction.”
