BE IN THE ROOM: Where Latina Leadership, Influence and Opportunity Come Together.
AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) proudly announces its 2026 Women of Distinction Honorees—12 extraordinary Texas Latinas whose leadership, vision, innovation and service are helping shape the future of Texas.
On Friday, September 4, in Austin, TAMACC will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, elected officials, professionals, community advocates and emerging leaders for the TAMACC Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon.
This is more than an awards luncheon.
It is a room you want to be in.
It is where accomplished leaders come together, relationships are built, ideas are exchanged, and new opportunities can begin. It is an opportunity to meet people who are making things happen across Texas—and to make sure you are part of the conversation.
BE IN THE ROOM.
Be in the room to celebrate 12 remarkable Texas Latinas whose stories reflect perseverance, courage, achievement, and a commitment to making a difference. Be in the room to hear their stories—and be inspired by what is possible when women lead with purpose and determination.
Be in the room to connect with influential leaders from business, government, education, healthcare, law, media and community organizations.
Be in the room to expand your network, discover new opportunities and build relationships that can lead to partnerships, collaborations and business.
Be in the room to support and celebrate the growing influence of Latina leadership in Texas.
And most importantly, be in the room with the people helping shape the future of Texas.
“This luncheon is about more than recognizing accomplishments,” said TAMACC Chairman Jonathan Olvera. “It is about recognizing what is possible when Latinas lead. These honorees are a testament to that truth. Their achievements elevate all of Texas, and it is our privilege to celebrate their excellence, courage and unwavering commitment to service.”
TAMACC President and CEO Pauline E. Anton added, “We are proud to honor not only today’s changemakers but also the emerging voices of tomorrow. Together, they represent the strength, vision and future of the Latina community in Texas and beyond.”
