Dominic Castillo Joins Amazon Web Services as Associate Corporate Counsel

Austin, TX – After a distinguished four-year tenure at Husch Blackwell, Dominic Castillo is embarking on a new chapter in his legal career. Castillo, who has served as legal counsel for the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) and is a graduate of Leadership Tejas, will be joining Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle, Washington, as an associate corporate counsel.

Castillo had been in the process of establishing his law firm when the opportunity at AWS arose—a prospect he described as “too good to pass up.”

“I’m very excited to be joining the AWS team in early April,” Castillo said. “I will be moving up to Seattle for this new endeavor, so trading in Longhorns football for some Mariners baseball.”

While his departure marks a bittersweet moment for TAMACC and the Texas legal community, Castillo’s new role at one of the world’s leading tech companies underscores his continued professional growth and impact.
