According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS) data from 2019, approximately 61 million adults (or roughly 1 in 4) in the United States reported having a disability. This includes individuals of all ages who have difficulties with activities of daily living, such as walking, hearing, seeing, or cognitive functioning.
According to the CDC 1 in 6 Hispanics Have Disabilities. It is important to note that disability is a broad and diverse category that encompasses a wide range of conditions and impairments. Disabilities can be physical, sensory, cognitive, or mental health related. The severity and impact of disabilities can vary significantly from person to person.
